M-Xylene prices decreased by 2% in Europe in the week ending October 6, due to lower regional downstream demand trends.
Prices were stable in the first half of September but went up by 11% and 4% week-on-week in the third and fourth week, respectively of the same month.
M-Xylene prices were stable in Korea where it saw a 0.4% marginal decline in the reporting week.
In S.E. Asia, prices were stable in the first half of September and increased by around 1 to 3% in the second half of the same month; however prices declined slightly in the previous week.
In the last week, CFR China prices stayed unchanged from its previous week's level.
In US, prices were steady. However, poor demand trends were reported in the region.
