Taiwanese CSC Remains Prices for Steel Wires and Bars and After Cutting Prices

China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan announced its price policy for next January and February on November 22nd.

The firm decided to raise the list prices for hot rolled steel and cold rolled steel by NT$281/ton and NT$56/ton respectively for next January and February.

However, it cut the list prices for steel plates and hot dipped galvanized steel products by NT$217 and NT$175/ton respectively.

Meanwhile, CSC remained the list prices for other products unchanged.

The official of CSC pointed out that the global steel prices seem to bottom out recently, driven by rising steel prices and stable raw materials prices.
