It is reported that Iran’s Esfahan Steel planned to reopen its No.2 blast furnace (BF) in July this year. The designed annual production capacity of this blast furnace was at 1.4 million tons. Meanwhile, the company expected to target the annual production capacity of this BF would reach 2.8 million tons. In the backgroubd, Esfahan Steel Company (Esco) is largest blast furnace-route producer in Iran.
