O-Xylene market showed downward trend in Europe whereas it was stable-to-soft in Asia in the previous week ending September 6.
In Korea, O-Xylene prices witnessed a week-on-week fall of 0.3% in the reporting week due to sluggish downstream demand and were assessed at US$ 1425/ton FOB Korea. Prices were stable during the rest of the week.
In S.E. Asia, O-Xylene prices remained unchanged. Prices saw a week-on-week increase of around 1 to 3% in the previous month but started decreasing towards the end of the same month and turned stable in the current month.
In Europe, O-Xylene prices witnessed a decline of 1% in the previous week after increasing by 0 to 3% w-o-w in the last month. Contract prices for October settled at the same levels as they were in September.
