West Fraser Timber is addressing the effects of tight roundwood supply caused by mountain pine beetle infestation in parts of British Columbia by exchanging timber rights, closing mills and making targeted investments in less-affected regions. The group outlined its plans in the Mountain Pine Beetle Plan, which it unveiled on 24 October 2013.
