The global average selling price (ASP) for 40W LED lamps was up 2.8% to US$16.20 in September 2013, according to LEDinside. Few new products were released worldwide during the month.
Additionally, the global ASP for 60W LED lamps was down 2.5% to US$21.40. Price plunge was most evident in the US, as top North America-based lighting vendors and wholesalers begin releasing competitive-priced products, the firm said.
