According to report, Russian steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) reported its production in the third quarter was 3.4 million tons, about 2% rise from the second quarter.
It also produced about 3.1 million tons of finished steel, remaining the same from second quarter.
MMK’s value-added products rose about 6% from last quarter to 1.28 million tons and domestic sales accounted for about 78% of total production with 84% of revenue.
MMK’s Turkey steelmaking operation reported about production of 211,000 tons in the third quarter.
However, the production been suspended for 90 days for this month.
