Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless producer in China announced to cut its export offer prices for austenitic stainless steel coils by US$300/ton for deliveries till end of September due to lower nickel prices and weak market prices. The official of Taigang Stainless said that the cut was largest this time, meaning that the buyers will have less space for price negotiation. After the adjustment, its export offer prices for 304 grade hot rolled coils with thickness of 3mm and cold rolled coils with thickness of 2mm are US$2,170/ton and US$2,300/ton FOB China respectively. Meanwhile, the discounts vary in accordance with the quantity that customer booked.
