Taiwan's Third-Quarter Steel Output Value Was NT$297.5 billion, Increasing by 0.1% Y-O-Y

Taiwanese Industry & Technology Intelligence Service (ITIS) has announced its research report recently. According to its report, Taiwan's third-quarter steel output value was NT$297.5 billion, increasing by 0.1% year on year. Among them, the export value in the third quarter was NT$121.5 billion, down by 0.6% and the import value was NT$91.2 billion, decreasing by 0.1%, both compared to the figures in the same period of 2012. To look into the fourth quarter, Wei-Kai Lin, the industrial analyst of ITIS said although China's infrastructure projects and consumer consumption have pushed its industrial and service industries to go up. However, the slow demand in Taiwan has still brought an uncertain sight to the Taiwanese domestic steel market in the fourth quarter of this year.
