According to data released by Uruguay's customs, the country's imports of the three major steel flat products, including stainless cold rolled coil (CRC), hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) coil and hot rolled (HR) sheet totaled 5,743 tons in February, jumping by 130% from a month ago. In February, the country's imports of stainless CRC with thickness of 1mm~3mm totaled 2,442 tons, higher than 1,376 tons in January. Meanwhile, the imports of HDG coils with thickness less than 4.75mm were at 1,965 tons, double from January; those of HR sheets with thickness of 4.75mm~10mm were at 1,336 tons, jumping from 246 tons in January.
