According to data, Taiwan’s exports of large-diameter wire rods with diameters larger or equal to 14mm totaled 5,136 tons in October, decreasing by 2% from a month ago. Meanwhile, the country’s export prices of large-diameter wire rods averaged at NT$21,326/ton, slumping by NT$1,189/ton from September and hitting the lowest over the past 6 months. In October, Taiwan’s imports of large-diameter wire rods totaled 1,588 tons, falling by 25.6% from a month ago. The average import prices were at NT$19,792/ton, down by NT$38/ton from the previous month.
