NSSC Announced to Remain Its Domestic Miseuri or Spot Prices Unchanged for September

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless (NSSC), the largest stainless steel producer in Japan announced to remain its domestic miseuri or spot prices for cold rolled coils (CRC) and plates unchanged for September. It’s learned that NSSC has kept its prices for austenitic CRC and plates flat since this April. NSSC stated that the nickel average price was up by US$0.26/lb. from a month ago to US$6.48/lb. in August but the appreciated Japanese Yen against the US dollar made the price adjustment unnecessary.
