According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, in the January to October period of the current year Ukraine's exports of steel products decreased by 4.96% compared to the same period of last year to 18.887 million tonnes. In October alone, Ukraine's steel product exports decreased by 4.3% compared to September falling to 1.713 million tonnes.
In the first 10 months of the current year, Ukraine registered 1.1% increase YoY in its steel product imports to 1.540 million tonnes. In October alone, Ukraine's steel product imports decreased by 7.5 percent compared to September falling to 160,600 tonnes.
