Swedish Crude Steel Production Increased by 31.1 Percent Compared to July

In August this year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 306,400 metric tons, increasing by 31.1 percent compared to July, but down 3.6 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).

Meanwhile, in the January-August period of the current year, Swedish crude steel production totaled 2.97 million mt, with an increase of 3.4 percent year on year.
