Jo-Ann Adds Two Household Names to Its Expansive Assortment of Licensed Fabrics

Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, is excited to add two household names to its expansive assortment of licensed fabrics.

“Our customers love crafting and sewing with their favorite characters, teams and icons from our collection of licensed fabrics whether it be Star Wars, their college alma mater or a hometown NFL team. We are excited to add two more collections of beloved characters to our existing assortment of licensed fabrics: Where the Wild Things Are and Dr. Seuss,” said Lynne Schron, divisional merchandise manager, fabric, at Jo-Ann.

Fabrics featuring Max and the Wild Things from Maurice Sendak’s much-loved children’s book Where the Wild Things are available exclusively at Jo-Ann and on Joann.com. The characters, originally created by Sendak in 1963, are recreated for crafting and sewing enthusiasts in No-Sew fleece kits as well as by-the-yard cotton, flannel and fleece.

The second new assortment of licensed fabrics now available at Jo-Ann features favorite characters from Dr. Seuss’ many children’s books. The four currently offered fleece prints will be joined by six cotton ones when the line expands on August 4. Seuss all-stars like the Grinch, Horton and the Cat in the Hat are among the characters that will be featured in the designs.
