Americk Packaging, the UK and Ireland’s market leader in the production of flexographic reel-fed labels, have returned from a successful trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
BrauBeviale, the capital goods exhibition for the process chain of beverage production welcomed nearly 38,000 delegates on the 8, 9 and 10 November.
Michael Harkness, Sales Director at Americk Packaging commented “BrauBeviale is one of the leading trade fairs for the beverage industry.”
He adds “We were keen to have a presence at the event displaying our innovative products and showing our continued commitment to the German marketplace.”
The German market entry has been accompanied by Sebastian Ritscher, local Sales representative based in Stuttgart.
According to Brau event organisers, the buzz words for this year’s event were ‘creative beverage culture’, something that Americk Packaging is well versed in.
Michael Harkness explains, “Our samples, particularly our High Definition reel-fed printing technology, generated huge interest from global carbonated water bottlers and leading German soft drinks manufacturers.
“This is now a real alternative from Gravure printing in this traditional market. We spoke to a number of international organisations interested in our innovations and our ability to produce bespoke substrate labels. All in all it was a very successful event for us.”
Americk Packaging, a member of the Saica Group, is a market leader in developing innovative solutions for customers and its presence at the event has further secured their reputation as a forward thinking company that provides a variety of cost effective, high quality labelling solutions for their customers.
Saica Group’s four divisions include recycled paper production for corrugated cardboard (PAPER), recyclable materials recovery (NATUR), production of corrugated packaging (PACK) and flexible packaging (FLEX). The consolidated turnover of the multinational group in 2015 was nearly 2,378 Million Euros.
