APR Allen Plastics Repair has joined the Reusable Packaging Association to help increase awareness of the value of reusables and the role of refurbished prod-ucts and container repair in sup-port-ing sustainability initiatives.
APR Allen Plas-tics Repair has been work-ing with plas-tic return-able con-tain-ers since 1985 and spe-cial-izes in refur-bished bulk boxes, con-tainer repair, mod-i-fi-ca-tion, and recy-cling. The company's repair ser-vices are designed to extend the life of cus-tomers' invest-ments and save them money. In addi-tion to repair, APR pro-vides con-tainer mod-i-fi-ca-tion ser-vices that allow cus-tomers to use bulk boxes that fit their needs more exactly. APR is also a full-service plas-tic recy-cling com-pany; and pro-vides a rental pro-gram for com-pa-nies look-ing for a short-term, low-investment con-tainer solution.
"We believe that the use of return-able con-tain-ers and our money– and material-saving pro-grams will help reusable pack-ag-ing become an even more cost effec-tive and sus-tain-able option," said Dan Allen, Pres-i-dent, APR Allen Plas-tics Repair, Inc. "We appre-ci-ate that the RPA shares our view, and we are excited to join forces with other busi-nesses that serve the reusable mar-ket. By join-ing the RPA, we hope to increase our brand aware-ness and spread the mes-sage that APR saves com-pa-nies money on the reusable con-tain-ers they already buy."
