Technipaq is all set to expand its flexible packaging services with the opening of a new warehouse facility in Cary, Illinois, US.
The sterilizable packaging materials manufacturer will use the 45,000ft2 facility located at 685 Industrial Drive for warehousing, distribution and raw material storage.
According to Technipaq, the extra space gives it manufacturing, warehouse and office space of 100,000ft2, and will provide increased production capabilities in its Crystal Lake manufacturing facility.
Technipaq sales and marketing vice president Brian Rosenburg said the new building will enable the company continue to offer fast turnaround and short lead times to its clients.
"We need to maintain large inventories of all our raw materials and products, to make sure that our customers' orders are available for immediate delivery," Rosenburg said.
Technipaq's Crystal Lake facility handles the laminating, slitting, sheeting, diecutting, fabricating, and flexographic printing of pouches, lids and rollstock produced in a variety of sizes from foil, film, Tyvek and paper laminates.
The company produces custom sizes and configurations of pouches, bags, rollstock and lidding, in large or small runs, printed up to eight colors or plain.
