Avitae USA, a producer of caffeinated water, has partnered with Whole Foods Market, to expand its retail presence in the country.
Whole Foods Market will sell Avitae Caffeinated Water at its stores across the mid-Atlantic region, reports Bevnet.
Distributed by DPI Specialty Foods, the product will be available in 42 Whole Foods Market stores across Kentucky, Maryland, Southern New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Avitae president and CEO Norman E. Snyder said that the company is excited to expand distribution into this key channel.
"Whole Foods Market is a respected leader in the industry with a strong philosophy on natural foods, backing Avitae as an all-natural way for those interested in a healthy lifestyle to get a boost from caffeine without drinking coffee, tea, soda or energy drinks," added Snyder.
Avitae Caffeinated Water contains natural caffeine, zero calories, and is free from sugars or artificial ingredients, the company claims.
The product is priced at $1.49 per 16.9-fluid-oz bottle.
