Reportedly, Topy Industries, one of Japan's major automotive wheel manufacturers, announced a JV with Topy MW Manufacturing Mexico to develop new forged steel wheels plant in the Santa Fe Industrial Park in Mexico's Guanajuato state. The new plant has designed an annual production capacity of 2.1 million units and expected to begin operation in 2015. Currently, Topy has production bases for steel wheels in Toyokawa in Aichi, central Japan, in Ayase in Kanagawa south of Tokyo, and at wholly owned subsidiaries Topy Autoparts in Kentucky and Fujian Topy Autoparts in southern China according to source reported.
