Design agency Pearlfisher has collaborated with gourmet convenience food producer Tanfield to create a new allergy free food brand ilumi.
Tanfield briefed Pearlfisher to create a new brand from a strategic brand positioning to original brand naming, identity, packaging and tone of voice.
Pearlfisher creative director Sarah Cattle said, "This is not about designing a piece of packaging, it's about bringing to life a forward thinking, food-focused approach in a world where the food itself often seems side-lined."
The agency has used a vibrant color palette in conjunction with a graphic precision that reflects the consideration given to every single ingredient of the food. A system of icons has been created to use across the brand.
Tanfield CEO Geoff Allison said the team at Pearlfisher created a new brand concept and translated it into a fresh and contemporary design.
"The really positive positioning, the transparency of putting all the ingredients on the front of pack all underlined with amazing tasting food inspired by the great food cultures of the world has really hit the mark with so many people, both with and without food allergies and intolerances," Allison added.
