It’s reported that Quintain Steel, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan announced to remain its list prices unchanged for July.
After the announcement, its prices for blast furnace (BF) Al-killed wire rods are t NT$23,600/ton; those for rimmed wire rods are at NT$21,600/ton; those for BF killed wire rods are at NT$20,600/ton and those for electric furnace (EF) Al-killed wire rods are at NT$21,400/ton.
Industry sources pointed out that the Taiwanese wire rod market might remain flat in the short term since most of wire rod producers have kept the prices unchanged for July and the demand have remained flat recently.
