CH Hanson has announced that they are teaming up with ITL (Insulated Tools Limited) of Great Britain, to bring a full line of their 1,000-volt rated fully insulated hand tools to North America. The range of professional tools will include: screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, cutters, nippers, sockets and more.
What makes ITL's insulated tools unique is their injection molding formula, which uses nylon-11, an engineered plastic resin that doesn't coat the tool, but actually bonds to the tool. Because of this, they say they can withstand impacts even after being subjected to extreme temperatures from as low as -40F to as high as +158F.
I don't have word yet on pricing or availability, but if you find yourself working with electricity all day, you might want to pick up a set.
