According to statistics released by China’s customs, China exported 4.92 million tons of steel products in this January, rising by 60,000 tons from a month ago and jumping by 20.5% year on year.
In January, the country’s imports of steel products totaled 1.1 million tons, increasing by 60,000 tons and rising by 20.5% year on year.
At the same time, China imported 65.54 million tons of iron ore in January, decreasing by 5.4 million tons from a month ago while rising by 11% year on year.
