CES was flooded with wearables and MWC 2015 looks set to follow suit with Huawei confirming it has three new wearable devices heading for launch.
With the Chinese manufacturer having yesterday let slip plans for its first Android Wear watch, Huawei has now revealed it will introduce not one, but three new wearables at the Barcelona-based conference.
Teasing the upcoming announcements, Jerry Huang, Huawei’s Director of Marketing Communications revealed the trio of new devices would each target different user needs.
As well as an Android Wear smartwatch, Huawei will introduce a follow-on to last year’s TalkBand B1 – a device which pairs a wrist-based activity tracker with a pop out Bluetooth headset – and a third, mystery offering.
Although the exact nature of this third wearable is still shrouded in much mystery, Huang suggested the device will be fashion led, possibly directed at a female user base and will be easier to integrate into your daily life than many existing wearables.
