Food packaging manufacturer in the UK Sirane has announced the launch of a new cooking bag which is suitable for meat, fish, poultry and vegetables.
Sirane managing director Simon Balderson said the company's new Sira-Cook Supreme cooking bag can be heat-sealed or folded over and offers various advantages to users.
"It is a foil bag capable of withstanding significant direct heat, allowing for its use on a barbecue as well as in an oven. The food will be tender, retain all the juices and flavours as well as the goodness, and could be sold over the counter in the pack," Balderson said.
Available in various sizes and in a standard and non-stick version, the bag comes with a clear top panel enabling users to view what is being cooked inside.
The bag also comes with a opening mechanism. When it is hot, the top surface can be peeled away leaving the food on a foil base and it can then be stirred or turned if needed.
Sira-Cook Supreme will also be added to Sirane's retail kitchen and cooking range, Thinking-Cooking portfolio.
