US homeowner's insurance provider, Security First Insurance has introduced a new flood coverage software solution with Wright Flood to enable agents to expedite the process of obtaining flood insurance for Floridians, effective from 01 April.
Integrating policy processing systems of the two companies, the solution is capable of better managing data and accelerating the process for agents and customers, which eventually eliminates the requirement for agents to input and manage information in two separate systems.
In addition, Security First's over 1,300 agents will be provided with access to highly experienced and knowledgeable flood experts to ensure exceptional service to Floridians.
Security First Insurance Company chairman and president Locke Burt said the tropical weather of Florida puts every one at risk, including those living outside of high-risk areas.
"As a Florida-based homeowners insurance provider, it's important we offer Floridians comprehensive coverage to protect their homes from common disasters that affect our state," Burt added.
Wright Flood president Neal Conolly said, ''Our partnership with Security First Insurance provides Floridians with solid coverage to protect their homes and contents.''
Currently, the flood loss is not covered by a standard homeowners insurance policy and is required to be purchased as a separate policy.
