A caustic soda plant operated by Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC) which has been taken off-stream, will restart in the first week of February.
“The plant was taken off-stream for a maintenance turnaround on January 15 and is expected to restart in the first week of February”, a company official informed fibre2fashion. The caustic soda plant which is located in Mesaieed Industrial city in Qatar has a production capacity of 350,000 tons per year.
