ProAmpac Acquires Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando

Flexible packaging firm ProAmpac, part of the Pritzker Group Private Capital portfolio of companies, has completed the acquisition of Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando from Holland’s Clondalkin Group.

The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando offers lidding foils and films. It is specialized in converting, printing, die-cutting and slitting packaging materials.

The firm will be operating as a part of the Extrusion and Laminations Division. Bill Harris, former president of Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando, will continue to lead ProAmpac’s lidding solutions.

Clondalkin is a group of nine flexible packaging companies situated across Europe and North America specializing in extrusion, printing, laminating and finishing.

The companies have expertise in the development, manufacture and marketing of several packaging for different consumer goods and industrial applications. 

The acquisition allows ProAmpac to have 23 manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia with 3,100 employees providing services to over 5,000 customers in 90 countries.

The combined firm will provide products and services for a range of end markets, comprising of food, pet care, healthcare, lawn care, retail and secure packaging to transport cash and valuables.

Recently, ProAmpac acquired US-based Trinity Packaging firm which provides flexible packaging solutions to the lawn and garden, food and specialty industrial markets.

ProAmpac offers a range of products and capabilities, including wide web extrusion coating and laminating of film, foil, paperboard and nonwovens, metallizing, pouching, bag converting and rotogravure and flexographic printing.
