Retail-ready packaging (RRP) solutions provider Polymer Logistics has unveiled its new Rising Base Shippers range in a bid to reduce packaging, logistics and replenishment costs.
The range, which serves as both the shipper and the sales floor display bin, features a spring-loaded floor that rises as products are shopped from the bin.
According to the Israel-based company, the multi-purpose bins are made from robust polypropylene and ensure that even soft or fragile products are protected well when transported throughout the supply chain.
The containers are also environmentally sustainable and cost efficient.
Polymer Logistics managing director UK Adrian Dale said when selecting from an existing shipper, customers need to bend down to reach into the container's bottom and ignore the last few bags that are left out, invariably.
"The Rising Base Shipper eliminates this, as produce automatically rises to the highest possible position for selection, the display always looks full and is easy to pick from," Dale said.
