The home textiles market in India is growing in leaps and bounds since the last few years. The housing boom of the recent years too has fuelled demand for home textiles in India. For manufacturing home textile products, India has a great demand in textile fabric.
According to KSA Technopak, India has a 33% annual growth rate in fabric import these years. In India, only 4% local fabric is used in producing textile products, others rely on import. The key exporters are China, Taiwan and Korea, in which China occupies the largest market.
China Homelife show provides India importers and whole sellers a unique opportunity to source new suppliers and products. Almost 70% of the exhibitors are new to the region. Thereby increasing the chances of Indian entrepreneurs and businesses to develop new trade partnerships and tie-ups.
