Beer producer Flying Dog has announced plans to launch a new farm brewery location Farmworks Brewery in Virginia.
The move forms a part of the company's strategy to further capitalize on growth with entirely new brewery ventures, Brewbound reported.
Farmworks, which is expected to be unveiled in next summer, will house a 15-barrel brewhouse, cellar, coolship, tasting room, as well as an extensive sour and barrel-aging facility.
Flying Dog chief marketing officer Ben Savage was quoted by Brewbound as saying, "We are a few months away from having all of the details ironed out, but I'd be disappointed if we couldn't find a way to share resources."
However, the company is yet to finalize the ownership structure and property arrangements of the project.
Flying Dog also announced plans to modernize a hop production and processing facility owned by investor Jason Staples.
