Alliance Tire Group (ATG) has named James (Jim) Clark president of Alliance Tire Americas Inc.
Clark will take the helm at Alliance’s headquarters in Wakefield, Mass., on Oct. 15.
"Jim’s combination of management experience and strong customer focus will help us fulfill our goal of becoming one of the world’s top three manufacturers of agricultural, forestry and construction tires in the years to come,” says Yogesh Mahansaria, founder and CEO of ATG, the parent company of Alliance Tire Americas.
Clark has held leadership positions with global companies including General Electric, United Technologies and Verint Systems. Most recently, he was managing director of Dunes Point Capital in Rye, N.Y.
Clark replaces Manny Cicero, who left his position as president at the end of May 2014.
ATG employs more than 2,500 people worldwide. It manufactures industrial, agricultural and forestry tires at its plants in Israel and India.
The company has R&D facilities in Israel, India, and in the United States and its Alliance, Galaxy and Primex tires are available in more than 120 countries.
