During 2014, the UK government announced that it was cutting beer duty by £0.01 per pint for the second consecutive year as part of its budget released in March 2014.
This move was taking in an effort to boost a previously declining industry. The government's actions seem to have had the desired effect as total beer volume sales increased by 1% in 2014.
Beer sales are expected to increase in total volume at a growth rate of 1%, rising to 4.6 billion litres by 2019. 'Craft' beer and flavoured/mixed lagers are expected to be major contributors to this growth as the leading players in beer in the UK seek to attract new consumers to ensure consistent positive growth (Euromonitor International, Beer in the United Kingdom, Jun 2015).
Another interesting finding from a study conducted by Maxus titled 'The Dinking Code', was that nearly two-thirds of consumers (62 per cent) agree that they tend to stick to one or two of their favourite alcoholic drinks brands at all times.
The research findings highlight the importance of pubs and brands delivering premium and quality beer to its customers consistently. This is where the Future of Dispense should be considered.
Future of Dispense is an advanced dispense system which delivers maximum efficiency in a minimum space. It guarantees brand quality, optimum temperatures as well as providing huge savings in wastage and energy, guaranteeing a better customer experience and retaining customer and brand loyalty for the brewer or pub operator.

Joe O'Grady of Daniel Thwaites Plc commented on Future of Dispense; "During a trial of the Future of Dispense system our pubs enjoyed the benefits of drastically improved line cleaning losses and general improvements in the quality of dispense. We can also confirm that the energy savings you advised were correct and quality of dispense in temperatures is fantastic."
