Dispensing product maker Aptar Food and Beverage has linked with Spanish firm Lékué to produce its citrus spray
The device turns any citrus fruit into a juice container by directly tapping the juice at the source.
The citrus spray allows the user to spray the juice directly from the fruit. It has a screw-like design and can be easily inserted and secured inside the fruit, according to the firm.
The juice fills the filter through the holes where the sprayer collects the juice. The silicone ring prevents the juice from coming out and the dish allows the fruit to stand when not using it.
Aptar said that the device can easily be cleaned. The firm said that it supplies a standard PAV spray pump, which is easily integrated into the parts which form the base and screw of the device.
According to Aptar, the citrus spray has proved immensely successful in the market, where consumers have been quick to recognise its benefits.
