AMSA Announced to Re-Commission for The Basic Oxygen Converters at Vanderbijlpark Works

It is reported that ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) announced to re-commission for the basic oxygen converters at its Vanderbijlpark works in South Africa.

The plant has been temporary suspended due to firs incident on February 9 this year. However, the company has already to complete the facility upgrade and expect to fully operation once all the process has been finalized for this issue.

In addition, the caused fire is due to an unforeseen malfunction of the sensor and computer software according to reported.
