Brad Johnson has been named Vice President and General Manager of Saint-Gobain Abrasives North America, which includes locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Johnson continues to be based in Worcester. He succeeds Mark Rayfield, who was recently named President of CertainTeed Siding, a Saint-Gobain subsidiary based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. In addition to his Abrasives business responsibilities, Johnson will also chair Saint-Gobain's "Greendale Management Committee," which provides oversight for the company's shared services for all of its businesses located in Greendale (Abrasives, Abrasive Materials and Refractories), including community relations, real estate, as well as environmental, health and safety affairs. Johnson joined Saint-Gobain in 1994 as Manager of Global Financial Planning and Analysis for Saint-Gobain Abrasives. He was Vice President of Finance for Saint-Gobain Abrasives worldwide prior to his recent promotion. A resident of Hopkinton, Johnson has a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Bentley College.
