United Envirotech Ltd has signed an agreement with the local government of Siyang County in Jiangsu Province, China, for transfer-operate-transfer (TOT) and build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects valued at RMB200 million in textile industrial wastewater treatment, recycling and water supply. Under the terms of the TOT agreement, United Envirotech will acquire the 30 year concession rights to operate a textile and mixed industrial wastewater treatment plant with capacities 40 000 (Phase 1) and 80 000 (Phase 2) m3/day for RMB70 million. Phase 1 of the wastewater treatment plant is expected to be operational by June 2013. The BOT project will use United Envirotech's advanced membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology to treat and recycle 60 000 m3/day of textile industrial wastewater. United Envirotech will also construct and operate a 40 000 m3/day industrial water supply plant. The total investment for Phase I of the project is approximately RMB130 million.
