Solar-grade crystalline silicon ingot and wafer maker Green Energy Technology (GET) has reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.16 billion (US$39.3 million) for September 2013, the highest monthly level since October 2011 and increasing 2.81% on month and 225.99% on year.
The revenue growth was due to a small increase in shipments and 2-3% hikes in product pricing in September, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report. GET has an annual production capacity of 2GWp for growing silicon ingots and 1.8GWp for ingot slicing, the paper said.
GET posted consolidated revenues of NT$9.169 billion for January-September, rising 19.13% on year.
Taiwan-based crystalline silicon solar cell maker Gintech Energy has meanwhile reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.366 billion for September, increasing 1.93% on month and 84.12% on year, and NT$10.783 billion for January-September, slipping 6.23% on year.
