McSorley brings more than 20 years of experience from leading World-Class businesses to the Americk Packaging Group and has led the Americk Webtech business for the past 5 years as managing director.
Prior to joining Americk Webtech in 2009, he was Business Unit Director at aircraft seating manufacturer (B/E Aerospace).
“Nigel is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results. He is uniquely qualified to drive strategic prioritization and operational excellence” said chief executive officer Chris Hart.
“I have tremendous confidence in Nigel’s ability to deliver World Class operational practices throughout the Americk Packaging Group. The variety of sectors we operate in demand flexibility, efficiency and consistent quality. Nigel will be focused on setting and driving these standards across our 5 sites based in the UK and Ireland.”
The announcement comes shortly after the news that Americk Webtech is investing £11m in new plant and facilities at its Enniskillen site.

Americk Packaging boasts a portfolio of leading and well established operations in the labelling, cartons and flexibles markets and is planning further expansion, including more acquisitions.
