Industrial packaging producer Mauser Group has announced the acquisition of Canada-based Armco Industries.
The acquisition of the industrial packaging distributor is said to be in line with Mauser's goal to further expand in the western region of Canada.
According to Mauser, Armco's facilities in Quebec and Ontario will be consolidated into its Canadian reconditioning division RTQ-NCG's existing facilities in Mississauga, Ontario and Boucherville, Quebec.
The Calgary location, which will remain in operation, will continue operations as RTQ-NCG.
RTQ-NCG vice president Guy Trépanier said, "Together we will be a competitive force that will be a major asset for the Canadian container market."
