UK based independent plastic pallet and pallet box distributor, Goplasticpallets.com has launched new APB 1210 heavy duty plastic scale pallet, which helps determine the exact weight which the pallet is carrying to avoid risk of overloading.
The new plastic pallet features scales that are built into the top deck. This deck operates a digital display on both sides of the pallet blocks so that the users are able to determine the exact weight that the pallet is carrying.
If the pallet is overloaded, it would trigger an alarm and give out a red warning light, to help the user adjust the load.
The APB 1210 plastic scale pallet, which has been tested and certified to the latest health and safety standards, measures 1200mm (L) x 1000mm (W) x 160mm (H) and weighs 28kg.
Goplasticpallets.com claims that the pallet can hold static load of 6,000kg, a dynamic load of 3,000kg and up to 1,500kg in racking.
APB 1210, which comes in a standard blue colour, features several options for orders above 500 units. These options include a choice of seven different colours, screen printing with your company logo and RFID inserts.
Goplasticpallets.com UK sales manager Ben Messingham said: "Although plastic pallets have stated loading capacities, making them much safer to use than wooden ones, our new plastic scale pallet offers users that extra bit of reassurance that they're using the pallet within its load limits."
Goplasticpallets.com, which is a division of All Pallets, stocks more than 155 different pallets and pallet boxes offering a wide array of product features and colour options.
The pallet styles it offers include nestable pallets, hygienic pallets, pool pallets, full perimeter and non-perimeter pallets, pallets suitable for export, display pallets and two-colour pallets, which is a new concept that the company introduced to support pallet identification.
