Menasha is continuing its investment in digital technology with the addition of a new Fuji Acuity F series UV inkjet printer.
The new press is the third-generation digital printer at Menasha's Promotional Print Solutions facility in Neenah, Wisconsin.
"This purchase is the beginning of additional digital capital investments that Menasha is planning, and lays the groundwork for continued company growth," said Jamie Seckar, Menasha's Prepress/Digital Area Manager for Promotional Print Solutions. "The new digital printer also enables us to widen our scope of capabilities within the retail promotional industry, and remain a leading provider of promotional print solutions."
The Fuji Acuity F is a state-of-the-art flatbed printer capable of delivering a wide range of print applications, including point-of-sale collateral and point-of-purchase signage and displays. It accommodates clear or colored substrates up to two inches thick.
"The Fuji Acuity provides twice the resolution of an obsolete digital press we are retiring, allowing us to print near offset quality for fine definition graphics," said Rory Williams, Menasha's Regional Lean Coordinator and Quality Manager for Promotional Print Solutions. "The high productivity machine also enables Menasha to continue producing quick-turn products with industry-leading quality."
Now in production, the Fuji Acuity is ideal for prototypes, samples and small runs. For high-volume orders, Menasha's Neenah facility utilizes its existing large-format digital press, an Inca Onset Q40i Digital Printer.
Menasha's Promotional Print Solutions facilities service the food, household and personal care markets.
