Japan's Stock of Natural Rubber Hit 8,623 Tons

Statistics from the Rubber Trade Association of Japan show that the country's stock of natural rubber hit 8,623 tons as of August 20, an increase of 34% from 10 days ago when 6,458 tons of natural rubber was in stock. This stock volume was the highest since July 10, 2009 when it was 8,929 tons. As said, it will help ease pressures on tight supply. Rubber harvesting activities in Thailand, which is the world's largest rubber producing country, have been affected by changing weather, with rain ceasing by MID-July. Source: Plasticsinfomart. com
