Esko has announced the availability of the latest release of its structural packaging design software ArtiosCAD Enterprise, globally.
According to the company, all assets are stored in a centralized yet private corporate database in the cloud with the new packaging software.
The Enterprise Database Server, which provides a secure web-accessible database in the cloud and project management engine, enables on-line collaboration between design groups, CAD and graphic designers, suppliers, brand owners and production.
The software client enriches WebCenter projects with all the CAD-specific metadata, such as geometry and materials, so that all details about the packaging project are captured and managed from beginning to end.
Esko's ArtiosCAD Enterprise database allows users to save any file type. All corporate assets such as CAD files, customer lists, projects, specs, and bills of materials are available anywhere from a centralized database.
The software also provides easy to use on-line dashboards with real-time feedback about project status, due dates, samples needed and other parameters. It enables users to search and export data to excel spreadsheets, helping them to create their own custom reports.
ArtiosCAD Enterprise can also store all project assets in the central database, organized in folders with its project management. It can automate and streamline project creation and improve the communication between sales and design departments.
The scalable solution helps deliver quicker response time and transparency of design requests, project status, and resource load and also minimizes errors due to miscommunicated specifications, the company said.
