Recently, a signing ceremony was held in Shanghai for delivery of the equipment for CAL ( Continuous Annealing Line ) for 2030 Cold Rolling Mill under Zhanjiang Iron & Steel.
Mr Zhao Zhou Li, Deputy General Manager of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Group Company, General Director of the Headquarter of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Group Company, Sanchez, Chairman of Fives Group Executive Committee, Lu Lijie, the French Consul General in Shanghai and the chiefs from relevant unit attended the signing ceremony.
2030 Cold Rolling Mill is one of the main project in Zhanjiang Iron and Steel, which produces mainly the sheet for car and household appliances of high-end products with designed annual production capacity of 2.2 million tons.
Piling is scheduled in September for the construction of Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Cold Rolling Mill, and in June, 2016, hot load test for Continuous Annealing line is to be held. The unit will be built into a world-class "humanizing, producing defect free plate rolling plant".

Design of annealing furnace and part of incorporated supply is delivered by Stein company, and the other equipment is to be manufactured domestically. Stein company will use thermal technology in the second generation energy-saving combustion system and the latest development of continuous annealing line, so that the energy consumption will be 20% less than that of the similar furnace and the emissions of nitrogen oxide is reduced by 50% compared with the similar furnace.
