According to data, Japan’s exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 953,442 tons in November, rising by 19.1% from a month ago and increasing by 48.9% year on year. The HRC export prices averaged at US$587.8/ton FOB, falling by 7.5% month on month and decreasing by 21.5% year on year. In November, Korea was the largest importer of the Japanese HRC with 127,824 tons, up by 5%; China was the second largest one with 33,591 tons, decreasing by 23.1% and Taiwan was the third largest one with 34,225 tons, falling by 13.2%, all compared to those in a month ago.
