For the second consecutive year, Ashland Inc was honored as Best Chemical Supplier of the Year for the Pulp and Paper segment by the Brazilian Pulp & Paper Association (ABTCP) at its annual awards dinner October 9, 2013. Flavio Parrilha Martins, commercial leader paper, Brazil, accepted the award on behalf of Ashland Water Technologies.
In a survey of Brazilian pulp and paper companies, Ashland was recognized for its innovative products, technical support and problem-solving skills.

ABTCP held its 46th Pulp and Paper International Congress and Exhibition, October 8-10, 2013, at the Transamérica ExpoCenter in Sao Paulo. There were more than 6000 attendees from many countries around the world who took part in this three-day convention.
