Rodenbach Brewery to Unveil New Packaging for Beer Range

Rodenbach Brewery has unveiled plans to develop new packaging for its beer range.

The company will invest $3m to upgrade its brewery infrastructure in Roeselare, Belgium. The investment will also be used to expand it brands and markets.

The brewery, which is a producer of Flemish Red Brown Sour Ales, will provide a new design for all its product portfolio.

Rodenbach is also planning to provide a new look to R that appears on all packaging, in a bid to provide  tribute to the brand's 200 year-old heritage of brewing and crafting Flemish Red Brown Sour Ales.

The brewery will provide Classic as the new name for its session beer. It will be exclusively provided in 6-pack and 8.5oz cans in the US.

Its Rodenbach Fruitage, Rodenbach Grand Cru, Rodenbach Vintage, Rodenbach Alexander and Rodenbach Caractère Rouge will also be provided with new packaging design.

According to the brewery, labels for Rodenbach Classic and Rodenbach Fruitage will use the R to describe red, ripened and refreshing.

Rodenbach Grand Cru, Rodenbach Alexander, Rodenbach Vintage and Rodenbach Caractère Rouge will include wording aged in oak foeders, which spots Rodenbach's 294 iconic oak vats.

Rodenbach is specialized in brewing original sour ale and mixed-fermentation Flanders red-brown beer.

The brewery uses positive selection process to produce balanced beer. It will be aged in the the brewery's 294 oak casks.
