Ambiente Trends 2013
Trend scouts from German design consultants Stilbuero bora.herke.palmisano will pick several hundred new items from Interior Lifestyle China exhibitors. Ms Claudia Herke, one of the founders of Stilbuero bora.herke.palmisano explained: "Ambiente Trends 2013 for the Chinese market in Shanghai is an adaptation of the trends already shown earlier this year at Ambiente in Frankfurt. Under the title of "Welcome to the Jungle", four themes called Blossom Field, Classic Ground, Eccentric Domain, and Contrasting Sphere cover a while range of up-to-date consumer products."
Talents
The line-up features several Chinese designers and one Japanese designer. Original design items on display will include for example, ceramic and wood items. "Talents" is one of Messe Frankfurt's most important global newcomer and scouting programmes to promote original design.
Store of Happiness and The Concept House
This year's Store of Happiness offers four themed gift sections – Fashionable Wedding, Modern Gift, Seasonable Festival, and Gift Package to Present. The store shows that with good design, household products are now becoming popular wedding gifts instead of the traditional "red packet gift". These items include tables, chairs, beds, and cabinets. TRENDS, an international fashion design magazine, takes this theme and collaborates with several international high-end home furnishing brands to help create The Concept House.
Home Style Awards 2013
The event is organised by the Shanghai Brand Development Centre, Lifestyle Brand Committee and is highly respected by industry professionals. Awards will be presented for the Best Green Style, Best Look and Best Practical Use and at a special dinner event and visitors can view some of the entries during Interior Lifestyle China.
Interior Lifestyle China will be held in parallel to Paperworld China, the trade fair for the stationery and office supplies industry. Holding the two shows at the same venue offers buyers a larger range of products to choose from. For more information about Interior Lifestyle China 2013, please visit www.il-china.com
